Comment

[edit]

The relation to Lie theory should be explained or omitted; we are not here to tantalize readers. I have made it a See also, as a compromise. Septentrionalis 02:42, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

membranes

[edit]

To anyone who is knowledgeable in this field: I am working to de-disambiguate the word membrane, but am unsure what it refers to in this article. Can someone help with the information or simply change it yourself? My best guess is to refer to Branes, but I do not know enough about the subject. Animations (free)

[edit]

There is a pretty cool set of computer-generated animations displaying cubic surfaces and deformations thereof Natmaka 15:47, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clebsch surface

[edit]

The example described as a Clebsch surface is given by one equation in four unknowns, but that link also redirected from Clebsch diagonal surface, where there are two equations in five unknowns. Are these indeed the same thing? If so, the mention later on which appears to distinguish them is confusing. A.K.Nole (talk) 21:09, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
