You may want to view Wiki standards on "up and coming".

Notability for this field should be fairly significant. There are probably a fair number of folks who got their PhD in this field last year. It also looks like there is a bias issue to overcome as the page was originally self-authored, which isn't fatal, but any unique scholarship, cutting-edge reasearch projects, publications (scholarly, popular and trade) would help. Otherwise, the Wiki-gods are likely to view it as a personal page.
