Henderson woods. Scaleybark rd.

[edit]

I was raised on university dr., off scaleybark. We all played in the woods owned by the judge. His son, Charlie came to Collinwood elementary and spoke to us. It was all his fathers land. Possibly donated for collinswood. Don't remember. I wa raised in first methodist church downtown, where charlie raised his family. He always treated me like a princess that mattered. Huge impact on me! Went all trough Sunday school with his son Bobby. Great memories! The judges house is still standing i think. Nice 2 story brick. I wandered in his back yard at about 12 or 13, had a nice chat with the judge. I was honored he wasn't bothered by my visit. He was in his 80's, sitting 8n his back yard on a pleasant day. Wish I could have a do over, I'm 68 now. But remember it vividly. He was a few city blocks from Billy Grahams farm on Park rd. I would love to know if they knew each other, and their relationship. 208.104.51.43 (talk) 01:57, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
