International Caps?

[edit]

David Forde has never played for the Republic of Ireland national football team, so why does it list that he has 11 caps? Anyone object If i rmeove this? Murfilicious 11:53, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

This article should be at David Forde (footballer). Check any British based player you want, Ben Foster (footballer), John Johnson (footballer), Keith Andrews (footballer), these are just some of the thousands of articles that use footballer. The only players who use soccer in the title are American. Kosack (talk) 12:03, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section issues

[edit]

I'm planning on rewriting the lead section as per the recommendation from February 2013. Will include brief summary of his career to date. Is their any important milestone that someone interested feels should be included? Scewmadden (talk) 00:31, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Senior Career Section

[edit]

There seems to be some incorrect / unverified information in this section.

I have removed Barrow from the listing as the D Forde who played for them was an outfield player named Danny Forde (co-incidentally from Derry City FC).

I can find no record of David Forde being at Oldham Athletic, can anyone provide some evidence?

His 2nd Spell at Galway United is missing from the list, I assume it was in 2004 before he joined Derry City for the 2nd time. GazzaLDN (talk) 14:52, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
