[edit]No reason to waste reader's time and Wikipedia resources passing this thru a redirect. Shouldn't be controversial, but redir has edit history, so move requires admin intervention (possibly including merging in the history of the one content edit from the redir's history). (after move, David Hardy (disambiguation) and David Hardy (Disambiguation) can probably be deleted.)

I created this disambiguation when I noticed there were two David Hardys, and I tried to follow the Wikipedia guidelines, (but if the ambiguity can be resolved by a simpler means, including fairly linking from both 'Dave' and 'David' - which I assume both Hardys can use - then I'm happy to support the change.)
