IWW categorization

[edit]

I am considering categorizing this article and its category Category:DeLeonist organizations with Category:Industrial Workers of the World due to the fact that the IWW was of course a major influence on DeLeonism and DeLeonist organizations both historically and theoretically. Marxism

[edit]

I don't know how to do it, but this should also be listed under the series on Marxism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.19.199.232 (talk) 22:44, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Citation No. 10

[edit]

Citation number 10 ends in a dead end of sorts. The book quote is not direct, instead it is a quote of someone the author claims to have convinced to ask questions during a sketch that was supposed to have a time limit of 12 minutes. Additionally George Seldes, nor the quote, are mentioned in an article of The New York Times written by the person who had been claimed, by George, to have asked Lenin the question, resulting in the quote, and to have personally told George afterwards. I find it extremely unlikely for him to accidentally have stepped over the supposedly large impact George had on the short time when they met. Claiming to have „primed Cesare every day before he went to sketch Lenin, …“, but during the self-written article Cesare mentioned nothing about the questions or George at all. I otherwise could not find anything that would support George Seldes‘ quote. As he himself says in his work: „I learned something of the origins of Bolshevism that to this day I have not seen or heard reported anywhere…“ There seems to be no other works to support his claim, not even the person who had supposedly heard the quote he added in his book. I think this may very well be a case of creative tinkering to make for a more interesting product. I will take the liberty to remove the citation and now uncited sections of the article, as waiting for a very delayed confirmation would very likely leave false information on the article for an unnecessarily long time.

If there is indeed a reliable source to support this quote then please undo my revision.
