Dorna's relentless copyright control will destroy the MotoGP as we know it. They are trying to revamp the series to bolster numbers on the grid in the premier class - yet they limit its exposure through the media channels??? WSBK has a lot more going for it - there is no stringent control on media - plus the racing itself is far more interesting than the current MotoGP paddock.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jawdroppin (talkcontribs) 07:27, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Motocross rights ownership (alleged)

[edit]

I've deleted the uncited prose stemming from 2006 initial upload, stating: "Dorna is the exclusive holder of all commercial and TV rights of the MotoGP World Championship since 1992, and from 2001 holds the rights of the SX World Championship". (underline added)

This was changed in 2006 to read "and from 2001 has also held the commercial and television rights for the Supercross GP World Championship.".

The line ..."and from 2001 holds the rights of the SX World Championship" was then IP modified in 2007 to read "and from 2001 has also held the commercial and television rights for the Supercross GP World Championship.", so wikilinking to Supercross of the AMA in America.

I am unsure that this is correct, and so have boldly removed until such time as it's proven either way.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 22:15, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
