Editing for a lay/non-statistics audience

[edit]

Given recent (and growing) interest in DTRs/AIs from non-statisticians, I'd like to edit this page to center content on components of and motivations for using DTRs, in addition to a more complete example of what a DTR looks like in practice. Discussion of methods of optimization for DTRs, which is of limited interest to most clinicians interested in DTRs, would be minimized and reframed to fit with applied content. Perhaps a page on methods for optimizing DTRs could be created for the Wikipedia Statistics portal containing this content? Feedback welcome. this article was not an encyclopedia article. it was more like a review article from the biomedical literature, where a bunch of PRIMARY sources were cited and synthesized together, to tell a story. That is not what we do here. I have stubified this. It needs to built from secondary sources, like the two that are currently cited. Jytdog (talk) 17:58, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback. Those two articles & similar are what i had in mind; I'll build from there. Thatonesmithgirl2 (talk) 15:56, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
