I strongly disagree "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject"

[edit]

As an academic, I have created this article out of my love for History & Biographies. Every fact mentioned is (Greek Public knowledge) and supported by hard evidence in English & Greek (check sources).

Therefore, I request that my edits be reviewed and considered based on merit rather than vague and unfounded assumptions. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Puresymphony (talk) 08:39, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Then explain this https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Eleftherios_Papadimitriou&diff=prev&oldid=1160275038. This seems like a clear indication of a conflict of interest. Not to mention a violation of WP:OWN. Along with your consistent push to call what the sources an attack, an assassination. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 00:12, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Explain what? Puresymphony (talk) 00:26, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you say so then it must be correct. Right?
Thank god the Judicial system works in different ways. Puresymphony (talk) 00:28, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I will reverse the argument - Why do YOU push to call the assassination attempt an "attack". Do you have a conflict of Interest? Puresymphony (talk) 00:31, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Source 4 - www.hri.org/news/greek/ana/2000/00-06-09.ana.html#03
"Assassination attempt against New Democracy party Deputy Eleftherios Papadimitriou. He was injured in the leg".
Did i write that as well?
Explain yourself why you HAVE DELETED ALL THE IMAGES in the text?
Are you biased? because he is GREEK? Puresymphony (talk) 00:34, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Source 3 case no 75 - In Greek - ΑΠΟΠΕΙΡΑ ΔΟΛΟΦΟΝΙΑΣ - In English the exact word is ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT.

Where are you referring??? Puresymphony (talk) 00:38, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To McMatter

[edit]

At least when you edit the text read the available source - He was shot 5 times by TWO terrorists.

(NOT two times as you have written). Also, it is explained later in the text. So it is not vague

The entire world describes this act as a terrorist attempt - Your personal view is an attack. Sorry thats not the case. Read footnote [3] & [4] section 3

Puresymphony (talk) 23:18, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@McMatter
Do you read the sources ??? He was shot 5 times. Puresymphony (talk) 23:58, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

READ FOOTNOTES - It is NOT an attack - Against an elected MP it is widely considered to be an ASSASINATION ATTEMPT BY TERRORISTS.

Are you biased? Need more proof that he is well regarded in Greece & in US?

Each news report calls it attack, this means we call it an attack. We DO NOT call it anything else. None of the sources called it an assassination attempt.
Things you need to do;
  1. Stop editing the article.
  2. Properly declare your conflict of interest with this subject.
  3. Make edit requests on this talkpage to be review by other editors.

McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 00:09, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read footnote in English 4? Unless you speak Greek better than i DO?
Did you edit yourself and mistakenly wrote "he was shot two times"?
Conflict of interest based on what? Your assumption?
I will edit any article in Wikipedia in accordance with the rules. Puresymphony (talk) 00:17, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
