Query

[edit]
  • She also gave concerts in Japan, America, and Australia (with special songs written by Hugo Wolf).
What does "with special songs written by Hugo Wolf" mean? It can't mean they were specially written for her, as Wolf died when Erna Berger was aged 2. Any ideas, anyone? -- JackofOz (talk) 07:39, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, concerning complete operas she recorded, shouldn't her Wikipedia page have included Tannhauser conducted by Elmendorff? 32.132.12.210 (talk) 06:19, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What did she do between 1933 and 1945?

[edit]

Did she remain in Germany or leave? Did she perform publically during that time or go into seclusion? There should be documentation somewhere. 2603:800C:3A40:6400:D04C:E943:198:2387 (talk) 03:06, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There may be some answers to this question in an interview included as a bonus on this album: Legenden Des Gesanges, Vol. 3: Erna Berger The track listing at least indicates this may be the case. 2601:603:703:E930:CC95:E75C:93C3:B60A (talk) 21:24, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
