Extrapyramidal disorders

What is going on, here????

[edit]

The article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extra-pyramidal states, "the extrapyramidal system is a neural network located in the brain," but the article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extrapyramidal_system states, "the extrapyramidal system is a neural network located in the human buttock." Presumably, one of these articles is quite incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.145.184.83 (talk) 20:44, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The image for this article is not terribly clear unless you have a background in medicine or anatomy. MeekMark (talk) 05:00, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

List of Examples

[edit]

It would be nice to list some of the parts of the body innervated by the extrapyramidal system. Some articles on maladies mention extrapyramidal symptoms, but following the link to this page leaves plenty of readers wondering. 79.86.24.101 (talk) 22:27, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So, does it help in voluntary movement or not?

[edit]

I don't understand from this article. When I move my arms and touch my fingertips together: since it was voluntary, does the whole thing happen via the Pyramidal system? Or does the extrapyramidal system also help out and if so what does it do? --Waqqashanafi (talk) 08:39, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
