"Some people dismiss this as deliberate fiction on Holm's part, pointing to his work as a fiction writer, his penchant for making deliberately absurd comments (see this interview), and the far-fetched scenario which supposedly allowed him to photocopy the script."

Is that enough to qualify for Category:Hoaxes? --Spencer "The Belldog" Bermudez | (Complain here) 16:10, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article is unwarrented...

[edit]

This article is based on a whimsicle idea, with no proof and evidence, which is clearly stated in the article; "John Cleese has neither admitted or denied it", and being one of the stars of the show, he should know.
A better idea would be to merge this, or parts of this into the main Fawlty Towers article, until somebody at least admits the actual exsistance of this episode, be it a producer or Cleese himself. Meateater 09:20, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Our having an article about a supposed episode 13 has nothing to do with whether it actually exists or not (and it is not our job to determine or decide whether it does exist). This article is about the belief that there is an episode 13 and the culture associated with that belief. Similarly, our inclusion policy when it comes to religion is not determined by how likely we think it is that the claims of the religion are true or not. --Oldak Quill 14:59, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think your response to the comment by Meateater was unreasonably harsh, he was making a very valid poit - to wich I myself agree, I would suggest you work on your tone with other editors. This is Zanusi 15:26, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
