Star Wars Wikia

[edit]

Citation 3 is currently http://www.starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hux Is the Star Wars Wikia a consensus accepted source? The Wikia article in question does itself have several sources, including the official Star Wars website and the actual film, but would it not be more appropriate to then cite those primary sources instead of using the Wikia as an intermediary? The wiki itself is not an acceptable source but yes, you can use any reliable sources that may be cited there. I did already remove that citation and add one from StarWars.com a few days ago.— TAnthonyTalk 17:55, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Naming Convention

[edit]

Kylo Ren's associated with the Knights of Ren suggests that "Ren" is an honorific in the model of "Darth." That being the case, when referring to Kylo Ren's actions or behaviors, it would likely be more proper to use "Kylo" as the proper name rather than "Ren." First Order (Star Wars)First Order – I did went to the Friar article which is where the First Order link is redirected at and I find some strange reasons why was the well known enemy origization known as the First Order from the popular movie franchise Star Wars from LucasFilms had the main First Order link redirected to Friar instead of Star Wars' First Order? I did looked at the entire Friar article using the Control + F to do word search of "First Order", there isn't any words mentioned about First Order in the entire article except for the top of the article shows the info redirect as First Order.

I still think it's irrelevant for the Friar article to have the First Order redirected to Friar since it's has no sense reason on why the actual First Order link without any proof in the article to mentioned why their First Order was called Friar.DigiPen92 (talk) 04:22, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Depiction in film" section

[edit]

This section reads too much like extensive plot summaries to the movies the First Order is a part of - in my opinion, for the sake of brevity, the descriptions of the depictions should either be limited to only the changes to the organisation as a whole and only the most important events within the movies, or there should be re-directs to the plot sections of those movies instead.
