The external link to trauma.org is broken. Seems like the article was relocated to here, but all the images are broken. Should the link be updated or removed? 68.101.64.234 (talk) 23:41, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anything is better than a broken link. Updated. Ijustam (talk) 05:32, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Studies have found that up to half of people with flail chest die."

Does this include those who receive ideal treatment? Does it apply to those whose only life-threatening injury is the flail chest? It says "up to", which says to me that some elaboration is necessary. TaintedMustard (talk) 00:45, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is the 2014 hospital choice of treatment?

[edit]

67.53.255.210 (talk) 11:22, 24 January 2014 (UTC) Non narcotic analgesics are recommended. But what treatment does the hospital adhere to? Is getting the patient into rehab actions the way forward?[reply]

ppercent mortality

[edit]

ref 8 and reference 4, used in the intro and in the body, disagree between 50% mortaility and 10-25% mortality. might be worth rewording if not resolving. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.58.106.50 (talk) 06:27, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've tagged this as inconsistent and asked for help. Mangoe (talk) 15:46, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
