Has the club closed?

[edit]

I think this club has closed. The last time the web site was successfully archived was on 11 September 2019, the phone number is disconnected, their website was hijacked and is now disconnected, and their Facebook page is gone. Betterkeks (talk) 05:28, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

    • Is this better renamed to the Former Army Drill Hall, that way the current use of the building as Freo.Social can be included, whilst still including the details on the Fly by Night Club. Dan arndt (talk) 12:32, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • It gets more difficult to use wikidata the more conflated an article becomes. I imagine the same applies to commons. Would a new article for Freo.Social be OK, but with the section on the drill hall moved from the club (and replaced with just a mention) to Freo.Social? Betterkeks (talk) 14:13, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't think Freo.Social would pass WP:GNG, whereas the building is notable as a historic building and Fly by Night probably notable as a significant venue. The most I can find about freo.social on its own is coverage of it taking over the building's lease and a couple of gig articles. I think the best way to go would have separate articles for the building and for Fly By Night (considering Fly By Night operated from a different notable historic building for the last four years), allowing the club to be a summary style breakout article from both building articles if need be.
