Another web site gives a different Ph. D. advisor (E. A. Frieman) than is given in the Mathematics Genealogy Project: http://w3.pppl.gov/gradprogram/Misc/Thesis-59.html. I'm not sure which is correct (or if perhaps they both are... he might have had more than one advisor). Andrewtappert (talk) 12:34, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I found a copy of his CV, which gives advisor as Frieman, so that's what I'm going with. Don't know where the Math Genealogy Project got their info... Andrewtappert (talk) 03:53, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
