[edit]

In the section on neurosteroids under applications, there's a sentence fragment without a verb:

The neurosteroid progesterone (PROG) that activates progesterone receptors expressed in peripheral and central glial cells.

Some possibilities:

  • The neurosteroid progesterone (PROG) that activates progesterone receptors expressed in peripheral and central glial cells.
  • The neurosteroid progesterone (PROG) that activates progesterone receptors is expressed in peripheral and central glial cells.
  • Add it as a clause to the preceding sentence: Neurosteroids can act as allosteric modulators of neurotransmitter receptors, such as the GABAA, NMDA, and sigma receptors, as well as the neurosteroid progesterone (PROG) that activates progesterone receptors expressed in peripheral and central glial cells.
  • Complete the sentence with additional information: The neurosteroid progesterone (PROG) that activates progesterone receptors expressed in peripheral and central glial cells (added information).

The sentence fragment appears in the first version of the article, and the editor who wrote it hasn't been active since 2014. (I am not watching this page, so please ping me if you want my attention.) BlackcurrantTea (talk) 14:29, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
