It's the same club. It's just been renamed. The new article was created by copy-pasting the existing one, apparently by an editor who has a conflict of interest. Content should be merged and the page then moved, if appropriate, to Galveston County Rangers Football Club. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:21, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

A major editor to this article has declared a close connection to the topic of the page, and thus has conflict of interest. I've tagged this page accordingly. Conflict-of-interest editors are reminded that they are strongly discouraged from editing the article directly, but are always welcome to propose changes on the talk page (i.e., here). You can attract the attention of other editors by putting {{request edit}} (exactly so, with the curly parentheses) at the beginning of your request, or by clicking where it says "click here" on the lowest yellow notice above. Requests that are not supported by independent reliable sources are unlikely to be accepted. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:30, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Much of the information is the same but they are two totally distinct and separate football clubs. As for conflict of interest goes I am putting NOTHING on the page that is NOT true. The page is a work in progress as well. Give it some time to get fixed before coming in and labeling all sorts of stuff all over it your own guidelines say ASSUME good faith. Your editors won't put a COI tag on Brendan Keyes article and he was the one that WROTE it and filled it with too many lies to count Ncfirefighter13 (talk) 07:44, 3 April 2015 (UTC)NCFIREFIGHTER13 If you wish to merge Galveston Pirate SC with Galveston Rangers FC please do, and I will recreate a page for Pirate SC as it is being fielded only as an amateur team for this season— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ncfirefighter13 (talkcontribs) 07:55, 3 April 2015‎ (UTC)[reply]
