Tower converted to Baluarte de San Pablo

[edit]

The Baluarte de San Pablo is what we now know as North Bastion (see here: 36°08′45″N 5°21′10″W / 36.145904°N 5.352799°W / 36.145904; -5.352799). I believe this tower was known as La Giralda and may have formed part of the Moorish Castle complex. Part of the North Bastion is occupied by the Gibraltar Petanque Association and is still known as the Giralda Gardens. I believe there is a plaque on the site which may disclose a little more info, will try to take a pic soon. --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 11:47, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just came across a photo of the plaque I mentioned above. See here, you may have to wait a bit while the image fades in. --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 11:30, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
