PC release

I was looking in the article for PC release information, but didn't find any. Further, I didn't find an explicit exclusion of PC release either. I don't know one way or the other, but if it is going to be released on the PC, it should be detailed; and if not, it should also be detailed (especially if there's any sourced information as to why). — pd_THOR | =/\= | 17:48, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

There has been no announcement about a PC version and as far as I know, no statements as to why there is not. xenocidic (talk) 17:53, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Would it not be unusual for an article to say what a game is not coming out on? John.n-irl (talk) 18:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I was going to mention that peculiarity. Perhaps it might simply be worthwhile to make a statement such as "While no PC version has been announced at this time, sixth-generation Grand Theft Auto titles were released for Microsoft Windows within a year of their console launch." xenocidic (talk) 18:45, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Would that not be straying towards Wikipedia:Crystal Ball? John.n-irl (talk) 11:29, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
"Straying", but not outright crystalline - it's just a statement of fact about previous versions. xenocidic (talk) 12:31, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Maybe we should but PC release date TBA Q4 2008/Q1 2009 (we all know why this announcement is delayed)? Kaurikk (talk) 12:20, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
*that* would be crystal balling. xenocidic (talk) 12:31, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
There are lots of people (including me), who have sent e-mail to Rockstar about this question. And they never say no (because they don't want to lie, because PC version is coming) and they can't say yes because then they break the deal they have made with Microsoft and Sony. But let it be then. Kaurikk (talk) 12:53, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
it is really only "ASSUMED" that GTA4 will eventually be released. I dont know if that means we should include it in the article or not though —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dogma5 (talkcontribs) 00:03, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

(unindent)Upon further thought, I don't think it would be encyclopedic to talk about the PC version. As John mentioned above, Wikipedia is about what is, not what is not. xenocidic (talk) 00:21, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

so put in what IS-- that there has been no official statement about bringing GTA IV to the PC. It's very relevant information about this game. The PC market is huge and every previous GTA game has entered that market. Jhhays (talk) 13:39, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

I dont think there should be any mention of a PC release, be it referring to past or future. A quick search shows no citable source to put with it and it would be nothing more than Wiki editors expressing a desire to see it happen, in my opinion anyway. John.n-irl (talk) 00:21, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

I agree. Emil Kastberg (talk) 13:31, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

I think the article should acknowledge, at the very least, that there have been no statements about a PC version. I don't think it would be out of line to point out the release trends of the previous games in the series, but I can see how people could object to that. But the lack of official details about a PC version IS noteworthy. I came to this article specifically to look for that information. The GTA series have been some of the best selling PC games in history. Jhhays (talk) 13:35, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree on that. As said before, it would be just pointing out that it's not like it was with previous games not saying there will be one or none. --SoWhy Talk 18:58, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

The chances are that GTA 4 will be released in a year or two on PC. I doubt you could use that as a source, its too far from official for something like that. John.n-irl (talk) 15:24, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
I honestly dont believe that should even be in there, it makes it sound like a for-gone conclusion and the page is just awaiting confirmation, which it is anything but. John.n-irl (talk) 16:21, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Actually, it is a foregone conclusion. There will be a PC version. It hasn't been announced since Microsoft and Sony have secured limited run exclusivity. If a PC version doesn't materialize, I'll eat my hat. But if consensus deems the sentence is inappropriate, by all means, remove it. xenocidic (talk) 16:59, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Comment: the article should be about what the game IS, not what the game is NOT. There's been no announcement as to whether it'll be released on the Atari 2600 either -- should we include that? -- MisterHand (Talk to the Hand|Contribs) 17:04, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Straw man argument. xenocidic (talk) 17:09, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I disagree that there should not be at least a one sentence discusion/mentioning of the lack of Rockstar announcement on a PC version. I am sure there are many people interested in the game who have not been able to buy an XBOX 360, and certainly PlayStation faithfuls unwilling to shell out the current price for a PS3. A mentioning of the lack of announcement can save a lot of time on internet search. Furthermore, I think it is highly probable that it was part of Sony's contract with Rockstar on GTA4 to not release a PC version for an extended period of time, and to not even mention a PC version to increase the probability that GTA fans will go out and buy a PS3. Why else would Rockstar be so tight-lipped about it?Davidweiner23 (talk) 07:29, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Your argument really defeats itself, it would fall under wp:or and wp:crystal at the very least. John.n-IRL 08:03, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
We can only put information into the article that we can verify. At the moment there are no sources saying there will be a PC version, no sources saying there won't be, and no sources saying there is no information. Therefore we can't mention it at all. John Hayestalk 10:00, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Local Multiplayer?

I know there has been a lot of talk about the multiplayer modes but has there been any news on possible local multiplayer? (i.e. split screen play? like split screen online [you and a friend could both go online on the same ps3/360]) Halo 3 seems to be the only recent game to do this and theres a troubling trend where gamkes will only allow one player on and offline, people who play videogames have real life friends you know! Cpd4224 (talk) 02:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Rumourmill is saying the 360 does not have local splitscreen play, citing resource issues. It's also rumoured the 360 version has less populated enviroments, and some graphical\framerate issues. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.174.171.21 (talk) 18:48, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

The game engine

GTA IV WILL be using the Euphoria engine. Yesterday I had edited this in, as the article was displaying old information announced last year (about using the RAGE engine). However someone must've re-edited the article.

I cannot stress how much the RAGE Game engine will NOT be used for GTA IV. It has been talked about countless/millions of times over the internet and GTA IV FAQ's. Gatar99 (talk) 13:14, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes it will use Euphoria, but it will primarily be created in RAGE. RAGE is the main game engine handling everything except for the physics and character animation which is handled by the Euphoria middleware. I removed your edit yesterday because it made the article look like the game was written wholly using Euphoria. The Euphoria physics are mentioned further down the article. Yes they could do with a bigger mention, but they are mentioned. - X201 (talk) 13:33, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Euphoria is middleware, which the RAGE engine uses for physics and animation. Its like Valve's source engine using Havok for physics or SpeedTree in Gamebyro. But Euphoria should be mentioned Skeith (talk) 21:09, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I agree Euphoria should be mentioned, but it does not belong in the "Engine" line of the infobox. As stated above, it's middleware. xenocidic (talk) 15:35, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Dude(s), don't be a silly goose(geese). It will be using the RAGE and Euphoria engine. a person 22:22, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Hope you don't mind me editing. I thought that yes, IV was using both Euphoria and RAGE, but I thought differently in the sense that Euphoria is the animation engine while RAGE handles graphical rendering and physics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.168.208.249 (talk) 23:37, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Australian version

http://blogs.smh.com.au/screenplay/archives/017808.html - Seems the Australian version will be censored (as with previous GTA titles). Should this be added to the Controversy section? Frvernchanezzz (talk) 07:12, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Seems a shame, because of time zones Australia will be one of the first countries that GTA 4 will be released in, a good half day ahead of the American release. It probably should be added to the article, the censored bit I mean, as it is all over a lot of reputable gaming sites. Also of note is that a month ago Rockstar said Australia WONT get a censored version of GTA 4, so it looks like Rockstar lied or was forced to censor their work by the Australia classification board. JayKeaton (talk) 12:35, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Update: This is confirmed from Gameplanet Store here in New Zealand. It does now appear that New Zealand WILL be getting the same edited version as Australia, even though we have R18.

This has not been officially reported by any representative of either rockstar or take two most retailers in New Zealand have no knowledge of this censored version. New section: "Community and online features"??

Does anyone else think it would be worth adding a new section named something like "Community and online features"? It seems like the 'Multiplayer' and 'Social Club' bits would fit better in a section like that instead of under "Differences from previous Grand Theft Auto games" which is a bit vague and seems to be getting a bit unwieldy!

The new section would also be a good place to add some information about plans to offer music downloads via Amazion.com (see http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/grand-theft-auto-iv/gta-iv-unveils-new-music-download-model/1199430 )

Opinions please?

Multiplayer modes

This article describes all the different multiplayer modes in the game. JACOPLANE • 2008-04-9 11:11

Wikipedia is not a game guide. John Hayestalk 13:14, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Right, but that article is not actually a game guide at all. It merely describes what kind of multiplayer modes will be found in the game, much like can be seen in featured article Halo 2#Multiplayer. JACOPLANE • 2008-04-10 15:14
What he is saying is not that the article you refer to is a guide, put that such information in a wikipedia article could/would be considered material more suited to a game guide. And the Halo article makes few references to the game types, but more to the way in which the online network is structured.John.n-irl (talk) 15:43, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Apologies, maybe I should have explained myself better. I assumed you meant from your comment that we should list all the multiplayer modes in the article. This would be against Wikipedia policies, and is better suited to something like GTA Wiki. John Hayestalk 15:47, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Picture format

In the infobox, it is stated that the picture formates is 720p (native) and 1080p (upscaled).

Isn't it that only Ps3 has 1080p, and 360 only makes 1080i?

And that Ps3 can have 1080p native?

So it should be Picture format = 720p (native) (Ps3 & Xbox 360), 1080p (Ps3 only)(Native)... 83.108.215.104 (talk) 13:44, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

No. The PS3 can support native 1080p games (as seen with GT5) but the games have to be developed to run at 1080p and most aren't. As far as I know, GTA IV isn't developed for native 1080p but can be upscaled by the PS3. I don't know about the upscaling abilities of the 360 though.ChimpanzeeUK (talk) 14:30, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
The 360 can upscale to many resolutions, including 1080. But anyway, the answer is: GTA IV is 720p, as if it was not obvious enough already from the screenshots. --nlitement [talk] 14:54, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't think upscaled resolution has any place in the infobox (regardless of console). xenocidic (talk) 15:17, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
I agree, it should just say 720p. If not, it should say: 720p (Native Xbox 360 & Ps3), 1080i & 1080p (Upscaled, 1080p Ps3 only). 83.108.215.104 (talk) 15:24, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

What is currently on the page is correct by the cited source. Any change you wish to make(concerning different reolutions on the different consoles) must be referencing a reliable source, otherwise no change can be made. John.n-irl (talk) 15:41, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

I believe Xenocidic is right here. Upscaling is not the basic resolution. 83.108.215.104 (talk) 15:45, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Then you will need to edit many, many pages on wikipedia. The vast majority of games on current gen consoles are upscaled. John.n-irl (talk) 15:48, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. xenocidic (talk) 16:00, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Im aware of that, Im mearly pointing out the precedent. I believe the upscaled figure should be in the article, it is a resolution available to used for the game. Its not like upscaling has no effect on the image quality. John.n-irl (talk) 16:03, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
I disagree, upscaling isn't the game it is the console. For arguments sake the PS4 might run the game and upscale to 1640p. John Hayestalk 16:18, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Im not saying that it is the game, mearly that it is capable of being played at the higher resolution. And it is partly the game, the game makes it possble for the console to upscale the texture resolutions etc. Not all games can be upscaled to 1080p, or even 1080i, it is very much part of the games development process/final product and as such should be in the info box. —Preceding unsigned comment added by John.n-irl (talkcontribs) 16:22, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

I'll admit I'm no expert on upscaling, so perhaps this issue might be best taken up at the WPVG so we can get more opinions. xenocidic (talk) 16:36, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Created discussion here. John.n-irl (talk) 16:50, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
I initially added both, but you guys are right. Upscaling is a function of the system itself, the native resolution is the only one that matters. Rockstar made no mention of resolution differences between systems Skeith (talk) 18:51, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
If the consensus is to only have 720p, i would request that the "native resolution" line be kept to clarify for readers who may try to change it in the future. John.n-irl (talk) 19:56, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
I see no problem with that. xenocidic (talk) 20:12, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Apparently, there may be a Co-op mode. http://rockstargames.com/IV/#?page=multiplayer Blackmanor1000 (talk) 15:11, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

there's a review out from OXB UK

They gave it a 10 out of 10 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.233.126.6 (talk) 18:48 14 April 2008 (UTC)

It was released in the UK first? If so, why isn't it mentioned in the intro and in the infobox? ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions20:01, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
They reviewed a pre-release copy. TRS-80 (talk) 21:43, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok. If it hasn't been done, then it needs to be sourced and added. ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions22:37, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

no fantasy vehicles

"There will be no "fantasy vehicles", such as jet-packs, invincible cars or tanks." I understand the jet-pack classing as one amd the invincible cars are only available via a bug but i don't see why tanks should be put there unless there is a reliable source stating that they are not in the game. (quote is from the bottom of the gameplay list) Luminaflare (talk) 17:46, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Where does that statement come from anyway? xenocidic (talk) 17:51, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Never mind, I found it, and fixed the line item. xenocidic (talk) 17:55, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Belive it or not jetpacks arent fantasy "vehicles" either (they arent even a vehicle)if you search it up you'll find that people have made jetpacks that can give them about 40 secs of flight. No real reason to this, just thought of informing you about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.131.111.196 (talk) 20:42, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the comment, the "fantasy vehicle" was a term invoked by the reporter. Fact is: there will be no jet packs in GTA IV. xenocidic (talk) 20:46, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Citing pictures?

Rockstar released several new screenshots today, some showing the new HUD which should go under gameplay changes. No text exists on it, but the pictures do. Can I cite the pictures in the mean time? Skeith (talk) 23:08, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

I think you would just use the {{cite web}} template, filling in the url, title, accessdate, date and publisher parameters. kollision (talk) 02:09, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
I would say no, as any interpretation of the image will be WP:OR. It would be better to source an article about the image. John Hayestalk 07:29, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

New info in first reviews

There are several points at which you make life or death decisions between key cast members. Comedy clubs feature real comedians. One of the reasons Niko goes to Liberty City is to track down the man who betrayed his old army unit. "Other uses of the phone on missions include calling a target to make him come to the window and into Niko's sniper sight." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.19.203.90 (talk) 21:32, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Error on Reception

In the reviews box in the reception paragraph, the link to the official playstation magazine leads to Official Playstation Magazine U.S.A not Official Playstation Magazine U.K. OPM U.K was the magazine it was reviewed on so it needs to be changed. The only problem is that I cant figure out how to do it lol. (Clarkey4boro (talk) 14:17, 19 April 2008 (UTC))

That looks like a problem with the {{VG Reviews}} template. I'll see if I can fix it. Bill (talk|contribs) 14:22, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Anticipation?

Do you reckon that we should mention the anticipation of GTA IV; http://www.joo-see.com/gta_iv_sold_out_in_uk.html. And/Or the chance of it outselling halo 3; http://www.telegraph.co.uk/connected/main.jhtml?xml=/connected/2008/04/18/dlgta118.xml . (Clarkey4boro (talk) 15:05, 19 April 2008 (UTC))

We'll see how it ends shortly, it seems a bit like speculative opinion at this point. I guess you could add it, but shortly it will be changed (when the sales figures arrive). Wageslave (talk) 18:05, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Lol... you rarely see "May outsell _____ " in the article of an unreleased game. Every game should have "Will outsell Pippin" in the article. I'd wager any game released on Xbox 360 will outsell the Pippin (maybe not some arcade games)24.72.113.212 (talk) 20:21, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Ps3 GTA IV bundle

I looked through and couldn't find a mention of the Ps3 GTA IV bundle (Ps3 system and GTA IV), if it's not in I think it should be included in the article. The bundle will be released in Europe, April 29th. http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/retail-confirms-playstation-3-gta-iv-bundle --Subtalvik (talk) 01:02, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

There is no mention of being bundled in the articles on motorstorm or forza 2, perhaps that information is best contained in the ps3 page? Perhaps the dedicated article on marketing GTAIV.
Wageslave (talk) 01:28, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Many articles contain bundle information. Such as Metal Gear Solid 4. John.n-IRL 01:32, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Bundles might be worth a brief mention here but would be more at home in the Marketing article. - X201 (talk) 07:37, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Xbox 360 GTA IV bundle

Their is a GTAIV Xbox 360 bundle in Portugal. I guess we should include that too.

Movement of development/marketing sections.

In following with other video game articles I think we should move Gameplay/Synposis sections above the Development and Marketing sections. I don't think there should be any major objections to this. Also, should Multiplayer not be placed underneath the Gameplay section? Strongsauce (talk) 01:17, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

I concur. Wageslave (talk) 04:35, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
I do too, the gameplay is more important than the marketing of the product in my opinion (Clarkey4boro (talk) 15:01, 20 April 2008 (UTC))

Protection expires Apr 24?

Let's be honest, this article is going to be a huge vandalism target up to, during, and after launch. Can we get the protection extended to say, the end of May? xenocidic (talk) 23:22, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

No, protection shouldn't be used preemptively. If it starts being vandalised again, then we can request it. John Hayestalk 07:20, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Fair enough. xenocidic (talk) 19:53, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
i would say at least until the game is released Butters0422 (talk) 02:58, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
WP:PROT#Semi-protection: Semi-protection should not be used as a pre-emptive measure against vandalism that has not yet occurred. John Hayestalk 07:37, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Hope everyone is ready to undo the vandalism tommorow then people. It's bound to happen. (Clarkey4boro (talk) 16:56, 23 April 2008 (UTC))

Bulger referance?

At the GTA IV website, there is the profile of Patrick "Packie" McReary, a "hard-living Irish-American". And you've got Francis McReary (not sure if related), who is the "rising star of Liberty City's finest." Could this be a reference to Whitey Bulger, the South Boston gangster and his brother, Billy Bulger, who was the president of the Massachusetts State Senate and allegedly protected his older brother's criminal enterprise? Just wondering if anyone else say/thought that. -Branson288 (talk) 15:04, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Sound Engine

I've noticed there is no mention as to the new sound engine. I would add to the main article about this but as I am here at work and its about the only time I'm on Wikipedia as I have no computer at home the system adminastrater here blocks access to said sites so I cannot actually source it. I think there is mention of it on IGN.com. If someone would be kind enough to add info on this that would be great.NoGoodScoundrel (talk) 17:06, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for social club cleanup

I would like to thank who or whome ever cleaned up the Social Club section it looks very nice Butters0422 (talk) 03:03, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

That would be me. You're welcome, but there are still some issues with that section, mainly the redundant mentioning of the ZiT service. And I see that someone you deleted the hyphen I made in "There is also a feature called The Zit - users of the Social Club will be able to..." . What the hell? Now the sentence makes no sense again. Are you pulling my leg here?Emil Kastberg (talk) 12:55, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Instead of a hyphen how about ...The Zit "with which" users of... or something like that. JimmyTV (talk) 13:11, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
You are quite right. I actually thought of that after I left the computer. o.O Emil Kastberg (talk) 15:40, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
The Zit is covered in the Music Downloads section. Does it really need to so detailed in the Social Club section? ChimpanzeeUK (talk) 13:15, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes there is quite a bit of coverage on THE Zit Feature i think that combining the explaination of the zit with the music download section due to the fact that none of the other social club activities are described at all —Preceding unsigned comment added by Butters0422 (talkcontribs) 13:28, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
As I mentioned, I'm aware that it's mentioned twice in the Community section, but I think it needs a short mention in the SC section along with a reference to the later explanation, unless we would decide upon switching the order of those two sections. Emil Kastberg (talk) 15:40, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Are you in Los Angeles?

If so could you go and take a photo of the advertising on Hotel Figueroa. It currently has GTA IV advertising on it [2] and a photo for the marketing article would be most useful. Thanks. - X201 (talk) 13:49, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

It's not a forum to ask people about random things. The only thing this talk-page is for is that we would discuss whether there's anything to improve within the article or similar. --Flesh-n-Bone (talk·contributions) 14:05, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Did you even read what X201 posted? He's trying to improve the marketing article. WP:AGF, please. xenocidic (talk) 14:15, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Ah I didn't understand what he meant. I thought he said take a picture and send it to me or something, now I understand what he tried to say, it was: take a picture and release it for wiki. --Flesh-n-Bone (talk·contributions) 14:13, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

OXM 9.5/10

Just noticed the source was removed. Was that because it was not a RS? Grlshvekooties7 seems to have changed the score to a 10/10 without any specific reason. Strongsauce (talk) 15:23, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Edit: Looks like someone has removed the score anyways. Strongsauce (talk) 15:25, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

I didn't find the gtagaming link particularly reliable, but when I saw it also confirmed at forums.xbox.com, I left it up, unsourced. xenocidic (talk) 15:26, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
... sigh, are you saying GTAGaming would "lie"? --nlitement [talk] 18:02, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
No, I just don't think it meets WP:RS, if you disagree, by all means re-add the citation. xenocidic (talk) 18:09, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Grlshvekooties7 keeps changing it to 10/10 without justification - I'm too close to 3RR now, so someone else is going to have to take up this battle. xenocidic (talk) 17:13, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Without a reliable source -- of which I feel "gtagaming" would be not qualify -- the OXM rating should remain at 9.5/10. Wageslave (talk) 18:48, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

AI?

WHats the ai like as opposed to other GTA games? Just like San Andreas or... I think this is important, since if the ai is noticeably better it greatly affects the difficulty/entire game itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.17.251.150 (talk) 21:01, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Platforms in reception

Is it really necessary to clarify that it was the (Xbox 360) version that Official Xbox Magazine reviewed? Or that it was the (PS3) version that the Official PlayStation Magazine reviewed? xenocidic (talk) 22:51, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

I was thinking that but now I think they help because it hightlights any reviews which do not specify which platform the game was reviewed on (by the absence of "PlayStation 3" or "Xbox 360"). I know we don't have any of those yet (I don't think) but it will make it clearer when some are published. ChimpanzeeUK (talk) 23:09, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Frankly, I think that in the most obvious cases, it shouldn't be specified (to remove bloating of the infobox) and (i doubt it will occur, but) if it's not specified, it should say (unspecified). I can understand specifying under "Empire (UK)" as that is not immediately obvious. xenocidic (talk) 23:12, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
There will be differences in the titles, and their reception. It can be noted when relevant, but not necessary for obvious or not-relevant commentary. Wageslave (talk) 03:35, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Should it be mentioned that some footage of the game being played on the PS3 has been leaked to the internet? I don't really know if it's notable? See: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/206801.html ChimpanzeeUK (talk) 12:31, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
