THIS Dab's peculiarities
[edit] I doubt that the avg Dab's peculiarities are disproportionately more arcane than those of articles. My conjecture is that they are relatively simpler, but that their function is deceptively simple: a Dab doesn't per se have to provide information about any of the topics, it just has to help the user (discern and) act upon the distinctions among them. Yeah, really that simple! ....hmm. Whereas with articles the distinctions are subtle enuf that no one considers seriously sorting them out. Which in effect, makes them really simple. OK?
