Read & Stirner

[edit]

Deleted misleading un-sourced reference to Stirner in opening para. Why? Woodcock, for example, states: 'Thus Max Stirner's egoism is rejected by Read in favour of the anarchist-communism of Kropotkin, or at least of his own adaptation of that doctrine.' (Herbert Read: The Stream and the Source, London: Faber & Faber, 1972, p. 223.) Wingspeed (talk) 14:22, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled

[edit]

I don't think the information recently appended concerning Frank McEwen really tells us anything substantial about Herbert Read. I would suggest this remark should be deleted. --Antisyzygy 15:25, 2 December 2006 (UTC)o[reply]

Not enough about art

[edit]

Seeing as Read is known as an art critic and historian, there is not enough in this article about art. Pelarmian (talk) 21:02, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
