No longer stub

[edit]

I have rewritten the article, adding a lot of information about the major features of the expansion, so I think that the stub status can now be revoked. Aegicen 13:16, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

No forge?

[edit]

I notice there's no forge/controversies part here yet... I guess it might be relevant here. Unfortunatly my knowledge of the Forge is limited to "there is one". Reynaert-ad 21:39, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, the original idea was to tie the first HOMM3 expansion to the M&M series' cosmic forge, which created science fiction artifacts in a fantasy world. So, this expansion was to include a "Forge town", where the creatures would be armed with science fiction hardware, like jet packs and ray guns. However, the concept art that was released showed some World War II-looking elements, as well as see-through clothing on the female characters. So, a couple of fan sites threatened a boycot as soon as they saw the artwork, NWC quickly backed down, and the entire premise of the expansion was changed. I think that information about The Forge should be included. Besides: it may come back as a fan made addon. See: Forge Forge Town Project Acid Cave (in polish) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.134.181.224 (talk) 15:52, 21 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]
