Question

[edit]

I thought Hires Root Beer had been replaced with Mug Root Beer. Was this only in certain regions?

I don't think there is any connection between them. If they are the same thing, than my memory must be overestimating how good Hires was.--RLent (talk) 05:54, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Morning, Noon, Night . . . .

[edit]

Charles Elmer Hires really did 'go to town' on advertising. I came accross an advertisement placed in the first issue of The Independent in Honolulu printed in 1895. It's an interestingly large ad., here, and was promoting 'Hire's Improved Rootbeer'. The article states that Charles was an 'aggressive' advertiser. So true!..MZionC (talk) 17:19, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

is it true?

Erroneous Information

[edit]

This article currently speaks of Hires in the past tense and states that it was discontinued in 2023. It is actually still being produced in limited quantities and areas. Does anyone want to discuss this before I make the corrections? PhotoBiker (talk) 01:41, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
