Seaside resort

[edit]

"Hove is a seaside resort." The opening sentence of this article. Is Hove really, first and foremost, a seaside resort? As in: Mars is a planet, Paris is a city, the Atlantic is an ocean and Hove is a seaside resort? In other words, Hove's raison d'être above being a place, for instance, where people live and work is as a place where people bathe in the sea and use the beach? I've never been to Hove so I can't confirm either way, but it seems an odd categorisation for the first sentence and article descriptor. Songofachilles (talk) 23:06, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
