Proposed replacement for top image

[edit]

Note: the "dominant inferior frontal convolution" p.1055 of Fauci, et.al, eds. 1998 Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, 14th Edition, Companion Handbook ISBN 0-07-021530-8 of the frontal cortex is not clearly depicted in the current top image. Nolte (2002) The Human Brain ISBN 0-323-01320-1 , photos on p526 & p.546 confirms the location of the inferior frontal gyrus as the third convolution.

In other words I propose replacement of the top image with File:Gehirn, lateral - Hauptgyri beschriftet.svg , with caption to say "Inferior frontal gyrus, labelled 'Gyrus Frontalis Inferior', above . ". This also confirms that the 2nd from the top image of the Inferior frontal gyrus article, File:Gray726.png is currently the more accurate image, when it comes to depicting a frontal cortex.

Currently, the location of the label on the top image is OK, but the depiction of the underlying gyrus is not. --Ancheta Wis (talk) 20:17, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
