Hi, I think the article about Integro-differential equation is a bit “misleading”. It just focuses on the kind of Integro-differential equation related to ODE's. For partial integro-differential equations the Laplace transform is not a silver bullet and they are also a kind of the Integro-differential equations. The book "Finite Element Methods for Integrodifferential Equations " by C. Chen, and T. Shih might provide further information. Bye.

Scope of the article

I think this article is too short and narrow in scope as it only deals with one kind of integro-differential equation. Especially a section talking about partial integro-differential equations would be welcome. This is related to the optimal control of jump processes and as such at least worth mentioning in the applications section. Irvaneal (talk) 11:09, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
