Speedy deletion contested

[edit]

A quick google test[1] seems to indicate that person is a little notable, listed on Amazon [2][3], not a best selling author, but ... Equendil Talk 01:23, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I had a look at her website, her bibliography which I added here, looks good enough to me, so that's a keep as far as I'm concerned. Wouldn't want genuine authors to have their wikipedia entry deleted, more than enough frauds out there. Equendil Talk 01:49, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikified the entry, looks like a proper stub now. I'm setting it free. Equendil Talk 02:03, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Native of Where?

[edit]

The first sentence says "...born October 7, 1955 in Miami, Florida) is an Alabama native...". This says that she was born in both Florida and Alabama. Mal7798 (talk) 09:15, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I shamefully copy/pasted a small and neutral paragraph from the author's site, which was promptly removed for copyright reasons. Seeing as I'm stubborn and didn't see the need for altering the wording, I e-mailed the author instead, requesting permissions to include content on wikipedia, which was kindly answered and reproduced below :

> "She also serves as a representative of Hoover, AL on the board of the Mental Retardation/
