Kenneth Curtis (murderer) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - There is a lot of very clear bias of guilt in this article. Note the lead: "He is notable for initially dodging justice by being found mentally incompetent to stand trial, but years later, as a pre-med student, being found competent and being ordered to stand trial for his crime[1]." The implication seems that in spite of shooting himself in the head and suffering massive brain trauma, he slyly got around the system by faking insanity. I will do a basic clean-up, but as I don't have even basic legal background, it could use some review. 71.23.167.230 (talk) 21:29, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As a casual reader, it seems OK now. But a date for the time he was attending college would be a useful addition. Meowy 22:17, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It has indeed been cleaned up nicely. One problem that remains, however, is that the subject, while guilty of a killing, is not a murderer as he was convicted only of manslaughter. I plan to move the article to a new title and change the "murderer" comment in the text unless there is an objection. Xymmax So let it be written So let it be done 15:35, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I've moved things as I mentioned above. The article still could use improvement, and I think that this would be a prime WP:BLP1E-type case that would be better written as a story about the incident than as a purported biography, especially since the the court case seems to have some notability.
