Sourcing

[edit]

This article presently is sourced almost entirely to non-RS Catholic-oriented publications, even a blog. It's going to need better, more objective references. LeadSongDog come howl! 19:30, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

La Stampa and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel are both secular major urban daily newspapers; and the National Catholic Reporter is a pretty darned reliable source. We're talking about an actual martyr, a guy who was murdered in the service of his faith: even objective reportage is gonna come across as a smidgen hagiographic. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:57, 11 June 2013 (UTC) (a Protestant of Irish ancestry, and no worshipper of the Church of Rome)[reply]
I agree with Orange Mike about the sources and I am Roman Catholic with Irish Catholic ancestry. Thank you-RFD (talk) 15:45, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Substantial Revision and Expansion

[edit]

I've been trying to reorganize and expand the article's text and citations, leaning heavily on Larry's autobiography and seeking other sources, too. Please let me know what you think. I've yet to add information on his time in El Salvador and develop the Guatemala section. Of particular concern is the apparent disappearance of the source that contains the details of the arrest and trial of his killers. Any help would ... uh ... help. brtom (talk) 22:56, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
