Missing years

[edit]

Years for which the Leconte Prize may have been awarded, but for which no source has been found, include: 1918, 1933, 1939, 1942, 1945, 1948, 1951, 1957, 1963, 1966, 1969, 1972, 1981, 1987, 1990, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2016, and 2018. The change from a triennial to an annual award appears to have occured sometime in the 1990s. - Donald Albury 12:43, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the Leconte Prize was not awarded in 2022 or 2023. - Donald Albury 19:34, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Prize of the Foundation Pierre Leconte

[edit]

A source of confusion is that the French Academy of Sciences also awards the Prix Reine-Elizabeth of the Foundation Pierre Leconte, which is NOT the Prix Leconte. - Donald Albury 19:34, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
