Wikipedia requires its articles to be timeless

I removed the following sentence, which is phrased as a disallowed temporal reference; please say instead: "So-and-so announced on such-and-when that Wein would write...

Wein is also set to write a story for Moonstone Books' short story collection featuring The Phantom.

There're RIP tweets every where on twitter. But, the only place outside of twitter that mentions it is here on Wikipedia. I would like someone to link to an article or official announcement. Karinagw (talk) 21:48, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Paul Kupperberg just announced that Len had died and posted an obituary on Facebook by Paul Levitz.
