Creating editor's questions pre acceptance

These have been migrated from the draft page. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 16:00, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Aviram7: I edited the references as you suggested. However, as I mentioned in my response above, I have referenced wikipedia articles. Can you please guide me what more references this draft needs? -- KoiRitwikHai (talk) 08:01, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Timtrent: You mentioned lack of reliable sources. I am not experienced in contributing to the Wikipedia. So I have some doubts. Please help. I have referenced wikipedia articles of those colleges. The information I wrote is the paraphrased version of the information present on those respective wikipedia pages. Do you expect me to go those wikipedia pages, copy the references and paste them here?

Regarding the notability of the list... I created this list as a parallel to List_of_Indian_engineering_colleges_before_Independence. So can you tell me some points as to what is there in the engineering college list which makes it notable but not present in the medical college list? -- KoiRitwikHai (talk) 08:01, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@KoiRitwikHai Every article stands alone, so we expect references which verify that each list entry is part of the list
As to the other article you mention, no, I cannot tell you what makes it notable. What I can tell you is that no precedent is ever set by any article for any other. If it were we would have a brutally fast descent into idiocracy. I will examine the other article to determine whether I feel it is not a valid list. Thank you for pointing it out 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 16:04, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Timtrent: I have read the WP:NLIST which states "One accepted reason why a list topic is considered notable is if it has been discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources". I added some references to show that the topic has been discussed. Moreover, I added references for each year in the current draft. Please let me know how it can be improved further. Thanks. --KoiRitwikHai (talk) 10:26, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@KoiRitwikHai If you are sure that this cannot be improved further, and if you are sure this is a notable intersection, then please submit it for review. Another reviewer will review it in due course. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 10:53, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
