Two columns of years

[edit]

Hello @Magentic Manifestations. I think it is really unnecessary for there to be two columns of years. This article is about the list of state days celebrated by Indian States, not the list of formation dates of Indian States. We should only list the year associated with the state day (formation/statehood/reorganisation/renaming/etc.). That was the long-standing version of it. Two columns of years will just confuse readers. Readers can see the history in timeline column. PadFoot2008 (talk) 13:02, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! We can remove both the columns of the years as for one, if the year is mentioned in parenthesis say formation (1956), it is good enough as the page is about state days and two, detailed history is anyways provided in the last column.Magentic Manifestations (talk) 13:07, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes definitely! And also by the way your contributions to this article are really good. Thanks a lot.
Also should we add the state flags beside the state names? PadFoot2008 (talk) 16:06, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
