[edit]

"Many pedagogies or classification systems exist for circus skills. Virtually every circus school in the world — and to a lesser extent every circus arts teacher in the world — has, over time, developed their own pedagogies for teaching circus arts. While most of these pedagogies evolved to fit the needs, strengths and teaching styles of the individual school or teacher, some pedagogies evolved from more pragmatic approaches, with categories being based more on objectively defined criteria, and less on how the individual school or teacher approaches the teaching of the skills."

What is this paragraph trying to say? It seems like it's rationalizing the use of a particular method of categorization -- the kind of lengthy discussion that the average reader doesn't need to hear before getting to the meat: the circus skills themselves. I would be inclined to move this paragraph to a footnote. Anyone? AtticusX (talk) 06:12, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Heshe

[edit]

I just removed this as was sent to a redirect to shemale while the Urban Dictionary has this to say. If someone can explain what circus skill this is we can re-add it and also change the redirect♫ SqueakBox talk contribs 16:39, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is in reference to "Half-Man Half-Woman" under the "Circus and sideshow attractions" section, in which case intersex is a more appropriate link. OctopusUmbrella (talk) 05:04, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
