List of mayors of Brescia

[edit]

No edit war, please (WP:EDITWAR). If you substain to indicate only mayors and none of the "acting mayors" (they are 12) you have to remove and place theim in notes for all the previous in the tables, following Wikipedia principles. Thank you. 95.244.101.121 (talk) 14:28, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, following your reasoning you should also delete all sthe special commissioners and place them in the notes too.
  • Here is the list of ALL the "acting mayors" of Brescia: Nicola Zoppola, Paolo Baruchelli, Giovanni Battista Formentini, Giuseppe Bonardi, Arturo Finadri, Teodoro Pertusati, Paolo Riccardi, Francesco Caprioli, Giovanni Gottardi, Paolo Cuzzetti, Arturo Reggio, Giuseppe Cacciatore, Luigi Gaffurin, Laura Castelletti.
  • Here is the list of ALL the "special commissioners" of Brescia: Angelo Tasca, Vittorio Ballauri, Nunzio Vitelli, Enrico Cerboni, Giuseppe Ajroldi, Antonio Zanon, Vittorio Buti, Salvatore Portelli, Antonio Amorth, Pietro Calzoni, Osvaldo Bolis, Renato Pascucci, Osvaldo Bolis, Goffredo Sottile, Roberto Frassinet, Romano Fusco.
best regards. --95.244.101.121 (talk) 14:45, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I will as soon as possibile, but you can do it too. No need to arrive and change things than pretend others to do what you ask. 87.5.145.211 (talk) 14:58, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Favonian: Contrary to what is indicated in the chronology page (absolutely not attempts to discuss), a discussion (on the potential vandal IP talk 87.15.99.81) was actually started and in calm tones.
Indeed, what was missing was coherence/congruence and the respect of the principles of uniformity and neutrality on a Wikipedia page. The IP 87.15.99.81 removed only partial text/datas concerning different subjects/persons, doing an impartial modification: we can see how some of them were deleted while others were left in the page. Only after s/he "drafted an answer". Thanks & Best regards (95.244.101.121) --87.15.99.81 (talk) 15:46, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The list is now complete with all the mayors, acting mayors and commissioners. I already argued in the past with a disruptive IP who removed some of the mayors and kept others with no apparent reason. The other articles about lists of Italian mayors are largely incomplete, therefore it is not this article that should be standardized with the others, but the opposite. This is presumably the most complete article concerning a list of mayors of an Italian city.--Alienautic (talk) 16:24, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The list is about the mayors, not acting ones. In every single page about Mayors that acting are not int he tables. Luc19 (talk) 16:26, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Luc19: That's because most of those lists are stubs and so still incomplete (actually, List of mayors of New York City, which is pretty much of a complete article, includes acting mayors in the tables). Anyaway, we should consider if we have to remove all the acting mayors and commissioners or keep all of them. I agree with IP 95.244.101.121, that the block was made keeping some of the disruptive edits (two specific acting mayors were removed, but the others were kept). I restored the complete version, please stop this edit war and discuss calmly of what to do with this list. "The list is about the mayors, not acting ones": well, so are you hinting we should remove also the infos about elections and deputy mayors, since this is not a list about "deputy mayors" or "elections in Brescia"? Maybe we should consider asking for other opinions in Wikipedia:WikiProject Politics.--Alienautic (talk) 17:07, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
