On Wikipedia, is it frowned upon when a company creates or makes changes to their own CEO's article. With that aside, this article shows a CLEAR, UNMISTAKABLE bias that the Wikipedia community will not tolerate. You must provide an unbiased view of Lynn Tilton, as well as citing why Lynn Tilton is of encyclopedic value (if any), or of any significance to the community, for that matter. Your article references mean little being that you've not provided a single inline citation. I have flagged this article for review. Unless the Wikipedia community steps forward to provide an unbiased report of Lynn Tilton (and proof of her significance and encyclopedic value), I will see that this article is removed. Note that because of your creation of this article, this may reflect poorly on Patriarch Partners. 67.241.191.198 (talk) 22:59, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I second this. It's only a matter of time before the page is removed entirely and Wikipedia blocks the "Patriarchpartners" account. Wow, they could've at least used a username that wasn't completely and utterly obvious. The article is 110% biased. EDIT: On second glance, it looks as though Patriarch Partners' account on Wikipedia has been reported to Wikipedia administration (Wikipedia:UAA). 71.28.87.27 (talk) 23:07, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article should absolutely be kept and expanded. I do not know Lynn Tilton or her company but after only brief research it is obvious she:

1) Is one of the wealthier and more influential women in America. 2) Has saved many American jobs from going overseas by bailing out distressed American companies. 3) Is becoming an icon in business and culture and is a role model to many woman.

Her many articles and speeches on economics and American manufacturing suggest she may have an interest in running for high elected office. If she runs her vast wealth and support among woman and manufacturing workers could take her a long way.

Here is a link to her reality TV show: http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2011/03/distress_diva_lynn_tilton_gets.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.29.128.181 (talk) 03:19, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And, as of March 30, 2015, she's been charged by the SEC with fraud and improperly collecting $200 million in fees. And when did she change her name from Garfinkle to Tilton? 209.117.8.178 (talk) 16:06, 31 March 2015 (UTC)HelenChicago[reply]

Why is there no mention of how she destroyed American La France? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:183:201:E4B0:75C2:DA95:A16:C477 (talk) 00:15, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Holiday Cards

Anybody else feel her infamous holiday cards deserve a mention? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.175.61.9 (talk) 21:15, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sued Merrill Lynch for sexual harassment

[edit]

"In 1991, after having taken a job at Merrill Lynch, Tilton sued the company for sexual harassment."

"She was fired from her next job, at Merrill Lynch, and sued for wrongful termination, claiming sexual harassment and retaliation." *http://www.forbes.com/sites/jennagoudreau/2011/04/07/lynn-tilton-the-wild-woman-of-wall-street/ 12.180.133.18 (talk) 06:54, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tilton says Obama plagiarized her writing

[edit]

"Since 2010, she has openly and repeatedly berated the Obama administration for not crediting her for certain changes she says she suggested it make to the TARP program. She even accused presidential speechwriters of deliberately plagiarizing her writing and inserting entire paragraphs of it into President Obama's 2010 State of the Union Address. At the same time, she's been a frequent outspoken critic of other White House policies." http://www.cnbc.com/id/102553138 12.180.133.18 (talk) 18:07, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
