Worst episode?

[edit]

Why is this considered the worst episode? A citation needed, I believe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.207.46.190 (talkcontribs) 20:45, 2 November 2007

It is completely implausible for this to be the "Worst Episode". I believe this is a case of vandalism. Should we delete that point?Simpson, Bart (talk) 18:50, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That is now cited. The relevant text in Wittebols' book is: "Some shows were embarassing for those involved in production: Many of the cast and creative team cite "Major Fred C. Dobbs" as the worst." It then goes into some detail about why the plot, which hinges on Hawkeye and Trapper trying to trick Frank and Margaret into staying at the 4077th for fear of them being replaced with someone worse, is incompatible with the characters' motivations as established in previous episodes. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 03:50, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
