The Martin Marietta company doesn't have "Materials" in their name as listed on their website (https://www.martinmarietta.com/), so somebody looking for the Wikipedia page on this company will find Martin Marietta, a company that merged to form Lockheed Martin in 1995, from which this separate company of the same name was spun off. That company is a sort of "grandparent" to this company. Should this page be moved to "Martin Marietta (some disambiguation phrase)"? And if so, what should that phrase be? --ΨΦorg (talk) 16:30, 7 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I would say so. As for the disambiguation phrase, perhaps (Materials Company) would suffice? Sethcampbell7293 (talk) 04:50, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The company's home page has "© 2023 Martin Marietta Materials" at the bottom of the page, so that appears to be the company's official name. As such, it's probably a better choice than "Martin Marietta (materials company) per WP:NATDAB. BilCat (talk) 19:43, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
