  • ... that Mavis Paterson, an octogenarian grandmother, has cycled over 10,000 miles (16,000 km) for charity? Source: Sources are in article (Clydesdale 2002, BBC 2008, The Herald June 2019, Wade 2023): simple addition shows that 6000+6000+960+1000 is indeed >10000 :)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Everything is in order. The article is new, well-sourced, neutral, and the hook interesting. Thanks for your note on the hook claim referencing. Maybe consider adding that she was recognised by Guinness World Records in the Awards section. el.ziade (talkallam) 13:48, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Schminnte and Elias Ziade: I like the hook to be easily found in the article. The article does not use the word octogenarian and I have to do math piecing together the 10,000 miles. 10,000 appear in the lead un-cited and then does not reappear in the body. I will promote but I hope that the nominator can correct. Bruxton (talk) 23:34, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
