Changes 12/09

[edit]

WBLQ-LP changed to WYCM-LP after the purchase of WXNI by Chris Dipaola. WKFD 1370's permit was cancelled. There is no new permit for 1370 anymore. WALE is on the air with a variety style format. WLWC is no longer run out of WBZ/WSBK. It is a stand alone operation now, owned by Nexstar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.228.148.235 (talk) 07:20, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FM stations to table

[edit]

I changed the bullet list of FM stations into a table, roughly modeled on Broadcast media in Tulsa. It won't break my heart if this change is reverted. (I didn't do the whole thing yet in case it proves unpopular.))

Blogs are accepted as media

[edit]

The list of Rhode Island weblogs should not have been removed from this list of Rhode Island Media. Weblogs provide a unique resource like any other media listed here. Wikipedia allows blogs that are written by "recognized authority”, and since “recognized authority” is very ambiguous, relevant blogs should be allowed unless they are demonstrated to be consistently and factually inaccurate. They should be considered innocent until proven guilt, not guilty until proven innocent.
