'Visa Versa'

[edit]

It's spelled vice versa, thank you. Gonna go change that myself.

Stop miss-spell things if you write it here. It's like using ect instead of etc. Where the hell do people get it from, anyway? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Swiiman (talkcontribs) 11:58, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of storyline?

[edit]

It was something like the moon or one of the planets was fitted with a giant cannon as a space defense weapon, but it went haywire, fired upon and blew up Uranus or Neptune, and is now focused on Earth. The protagonist now has to go deprogram it and fight through it's security system. 4.255.55.13 (talk) 18:08, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jap-to-Eng article translation

[edit]

{{Expand Japanese|重力装甲メタルストーム}}

The English article needs the Japanese article's info translated and added to the English article. Parrothead1983 (talk) 22:44, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Source for lesser known developer?

[edit]

"Despite generally being well received by critics and reviewers, Metal Storm has remained a somewhat obscure release, as it was published by a lesser-known 3rd party company without much publicity and released late in the life of the Family Computer." The portion I'd take issue with is 'lesser-known' when Irem was actually a rather prolific developer and publisher at this point. Through the R-type series and other games such as The Guardian Legend and Kid Niki they had gained quite a lot of attention. Not to mention they had already had best selling games already such as Deadly Towers on that system alone. On those factors alone 'lesser-known' doesn't compute when it's already the developer and publisher of many prolific titles and is well known. Including the fact they had de-facto 2nd party deals licensing and developing IP to console manufacturer itself Nintendo in the earlier years. Lesser known just doesn't belong. I'll be rewriting that sentence, and please leave it as such unless you have good cited sources that show 'lesser known' to be in any way factual for a company with that track record.
