- The Mingo were an african warrior tribe, who figth for the Romans, againts Cartago in the Punics Wars. Most of them get Roman citizenship and join the Roman Legions.
If someone can provide a citation for this, it can be re-added, but a quick Google search for 'Mingo Cartago "Punic Wars"' [1] (and several variations) revealed zero hits. older≠wiser 20:40, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
