Middle Finger

[edit]

I could be mistaken, its been a long time, but didn't a few copies of the album cover with the middle finger get released in the first issue? I recall when I was buying the LP in the 1980s sometime, I saw some copies with the middle finger which were far more expensive than the airbrushed cover. I think the story was that the cover came out originally with the finger but when the label noticed it they had it "fixed" in subsequent printings. I'll have to poke around and see if I can find documentation, unless anyone else knows offhand. Murple 20:47, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced Material

[edit]

I removed the claim " Columbia's decision diluted the power of the entire album, which was regarded as excessively hyped. ". Originally I planned to label it citation needed, but there's no way to cite that, and it really has no place in this article, as well as not being important. If anyone can find a real source for this feel free to replace it. GitarooMan (talk) 00:02, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lead Singers

[edit]

Someone could add lead singers to each track. Though the usual practice is that the songwriters sing lead, my sources do not say definitively. Fantailfan (talk) 15:15, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
