[edit]

I believe my edits today addressed the editorial issues flagged in the earlier draft. lppgeraldj Lppgeraldj (talk) 00:12, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lppgeraldj, your refs are mainly to his own research. The fact that he has published some papers doesn't of itself make him notable, anyone can do that. You need independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that he meets our criteria. Third-party sources are needed, not his own papers. "Anyone can to that" Not with Alexis Carrel as a coauthor. The Carrel page is extensive and respectful, and a glance at Burrows' history will show he was the unsung collaborator. This article was written with resource material from the family, so it's somewhat limited in its academic scope. We'll try to find more sources is all I can say. Lppgeraldj, I want this article to stay, and I believe he is notable. However, he must be notable in his own right, not only by association with Alexis Carrel. Carrel's article has good third-party references, this only self-refers. You will find stuff by searching the web and Google books, eg this book, p 326 and this. Your last two refs might be OK, but you don't provide a link to the pages you mean. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:08, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
