The last sentence is more promotional than encyclopedic: "By tracing the history of the emo movement, Greenwald sheds light on this culture and gives a voice to a previously ignored population." Also, I find it misleading to suggest that the emo "population" was ignored before this book came out. In fact, they were heavily marketed to. Perhaps they were ignored by social scientists? But Greenwald is not a social scientist, right? The article would be better without this sentence, unless it could be re-written to be more informational and factual.
