controversial?

[edit]

Why does the opening section say this image was controversial? Is it relevant to Andrew Jackson? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 20:46, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"also survived the French Revolution"

[edit]

Does this "the famed image is closely associated with Mother Saint Michel, the Mother Superior of the Ursuline Order who also survived the French Revolution" mean the Image notably survived the French Revolution? Or that Mother St Michel both was the Mother Superior and survived the French Revolution? If the latter, millions of people survived the French Revolution: is this notable in her case? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 20:48, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Mother Superior of the Ursuline Order"

[edit]

The Mother Superior of an order would be the international head of it. The link on "mother superior" leads to a Wiki article about local superiors, and of monasteries, and I've changed it to the wiki article on mother superior. This removes it out of a monastery. The question remains, was she a local superior or the world-wide head of the order? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 20:52, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
