The comments about path integral Monte Carlo and the statistical nature of particles are wrong. PIMC can work fairly well with bosonic particles. It presents problems only with fermionic ones. I have made a number of edits to the article, and have included a couple of specific papers where PIMC is applied to bosonic and fermionic systems. Hopefully I've made some substantial improvements.
