  • This is a wonderful article, accessible to a non specialist like me. I learned a lot. Great pictures to illustrate your points. I have a question about one sentence:
  • "As a consequence of its midwater habits, it has evolved to swim with more of a flapping motion of its pectoral fins" ... This sounds like evolution is directed, that the midwater habits caused the "wim with more of a flapping motion".
Changed to passive voice.
  • Also, do you mean "midwater habits" or "midwater habitat"?
"Habits"

Let me know of further concerns. -- Yzx (talk) 20:53, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think it is a well written article. I can't find anything to complain about. Your writing is clear and everything else is in order. There are a lot of illustrations that squeeze the text somewhat, but each one adds to the article. Xtzou (Talk) 23:29, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
