Notable alumni

[edit]

Are we that hard up for alumni that we need to include David Tweed? He shouldn't even rate a mention - take him off the list.Walterswithin (talk) 08:21, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Protection

[edit]

Administrators, this page should be semi-protected because of persistent vandalism toward the 'notable alumni' section by students of this school. FenderTele 03:00, 2 May 2007 (UTC) FenderTele[reply]

In the last month there have only been nine edits to the article and only two of those were vandalism. S-protecting under those circumstances would be preemptive and is not allowed under the protection policy. I have reblocked 221.133.196.118 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) for a month for his/her comments regarding Mr Jongen and I've warned and will block if necessary. That's about all we can do administratively at the moment. Sarah 06:30, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah, 221.133.196.118 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is the school's IP address, and jnee is a student at this school who has an intent to vandalise pages relating to the school (or myself). FenderTele 11:28, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for that. I'm going to extend the block on the school's IP and make it an anon only/account creation disabled block, so you guys can still edit with your accounts but they won't be able to edit anonymously anymore. I'll try to keep an eye on Tomsipro but feel free to let me know on my talk page if there's any problems. Sarah 12:21, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

[edit]

The article is no different than an advertisement for the school, "weasel words", emotive language etc... Very far off from being a reliable source of information.--Theworld2 08:35, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's probably because some of it is a copyright violation. I've just deleted two paragraphs I found had been copied from the school's website and we're going to have to go through and check the rest of the article. For whoever added that material, Wikipedia cannot accept material you have not written yourself. Please don't add material you've copied and pasted from other websites, books, articles, etc. Sarah 12:35, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Wasn't Me!!- FenderTele

As a former student of the school, I can verify that the history of school section is mostly COPIED VERBATIM from a sheet often handed out to parents of students or prospective students. It is essentially an advertisement for the school. Should it be deleted? 124.150.105.81 (talk) 10:03, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 10:29, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
